The pool is now closed for the 2011 summer season. It will reopen for the 2012 summer season on May 26, 2012.


2011 SEASON INFORMATION:

2011 SEASONAL HOURS
The pool opens at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2011, and closes for the season at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 5, 2011.
The 2011 schedule is listed below, and is subject to change.

While Prince William County Public Schools are in full session (through June 17, 2011), the facility will be open:
Monday through Friday4 pm to 8 pm
Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays11 am to 8 pm

After Prince William County Schools are no longer in full session (beginning June 18, 2011), the facility will be open:
Everyday (to include holidays) 11 am to 8 pm


2011 FAMILY FLOAT NIGHTS!
Every Monday and Wednesday nights this summer from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm will be "Family Float Night!" Bring your floats, rafts, and noodles, and come have some fun at Glenkirk Pool!


2011 PASSES
Residents: Residents will need to complete an application so that pool passes can be issued for your family. Each member in good standing and their children over 4 years old will be issued a permanent pool pass that must be revalidated each season with a new yearly sticker. POOL PASSES SHOULD NOT BE DISCARDED WHEN THE SEASON ENDS, as a $5.00 replacement fee per pass will be charged. Please remember that your pool passes cannot be issued unless TWC Association Management has an application from you, and your account with Glenkirk Estates HOA is paid in full. If TWC Association Management has already received your pool pass application (even from a prior year) and your account remains in good standing, the 2011 pool pass stickers for your family members will be automatically mailed to you. Each person must present a pool pass with a 2011 validation sticker before entering the facility. This policy will be strictly enforced, so please be sure to bring your passes with you every time you want to use the pool. If someone in your family needs a new pass, please call TWC Association Management at (703) 437-5800 to make arrangements to get a new one. Children under the age of four do not need passes. Once your child turns five, a pass will be issued. See Section 4 of the 2011 Pool Rules for additional information about pool admission requirements. For new residents, please return this application by May 1, 2011, so that you will receive your passes in time for opening day.

Guests: Daily guest registration is required for individuals who are accompanied by or sponsored by a pool member. For Glenkirk resident pool members, there is no charge for guest passes. For Associate Pool Members, the charge for guest passes is $2 per person per day, for guests 4 years of age and older. No more than four guests per pool member household are permitted to use the facilities at the same time unless special arrangements are made in advance with TWC Association Management. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to bring guests to the pool unless supervised by someone age 16 or older. Children between ages 12 – 15 are permitted to bring one guest to the pool per person when not supervised by someone ages 16 or older, with a limit of two guests per member household at one time. If you have a relative staying with you for an extended period of time who would like to use the recreation facilities, please contact TWC Association Management. See Section 9 of the 2011 Pool Rules for additional information about guests and pool passes.


2011 ASSOCIATE POOL MEMBERSHIPS
This year we will again be selling a limited number of associate pool memberships to families in the immediate area that do not live in Glenkirk Estates. The fee to join the pool for the 2011 season is $475.00. If you know someone who may be interested, please ask them to contact TWC Association Management at (703) 437-5800. Associate pool memberships are being sold on a first-come, first-served basis to most communities in our area, and sales will stop as soon as 25 have been sold. Important note: This year, returning associate members will have first preference if their applications are received before May 1, 2011.
